Ala-Maududi. (17:55) Your Lord knows all who dwell in the heavens and the earth. We have exalted some Prophets over others, [62] and We gave the Psalms to David. [63] 62. Though this has apparently been addressed to the Prophet (peace be upon him), in fact the real addressees are the disbelievers of Makkah. This is to rebuke them for the low Indeed, when it is recited to those who were gifted with knowledge 1 before it ˹was revealed˺, they fall upon their faces in prostration, Juz. And incite whoever you can of them with your voice, mobilize against them all your cavalry and infantry, manipulate them in their wealth and children, Ala-Maududi. (17:18) If anyone desires immediate benefits, [19] We hasten to grant whatever benefits We will in the present life to whomsoever We please, but thereafter We decree for him Hell wherein he shall burn, condemned and rejected. [20] 19. The Arabic word ajilah literally means something which can be had immediately, but the Quran وَاِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ابْتِغَاۤءَ رَحْمَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوْهَا فَقُلْ لَّهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّيْسُوْرًا. 28. 28. Al-Isra' Ayat 55. وَرَبُّكَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَلَقَدْ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَ النَّبِيّٖنَ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ وَّاٰتَيْنَا دَاوٗدَ زَبُوْرًا. 55. Dan Tuhanmu lebih mengetahui siapa yang di langit dan di Your Lord is most knowing of what is within yourselves. If you should be righteous [in intention] - then indeed He is ever, to the often returning [to Him], Forgiving. Surat Al-'Isra' [verses 23-25] - And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with كَبِيرٗا٣١.
